Little Estero Lagoon, Ft. Myers Beach, FL.
It has become a tradition to try to make it to some birding spots each spring that are good bird photography locations! Little Estero Lagoon, on Estero Island has become one of my favorite spots because it is beautiful and peaceful and a good spot to observe herons and shorebirds during their feeding times. Most of the shots were from the morning but we went back in the evening also. It is so refreshing and a lot of fun to get out in God’s creation and observe the habits and intricacies of His creatures.
All photos were taken with the Nikkor AF-S 200-400mm f/4G.

Your photographs are absolutely amazing and they take my breath away! To capture these birds in their natural surroundings is one thing, but for me to feel that I can reach out and touch them is something else! Seeing up close what our God has created, makes me realize even more, how grateful we should all be. Your angle ability, and lens choices, show what you can truly capture in your photos.
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Aunt Linda!! It was a blessing to me today! I love being able to help others observe God’s creation closer through imagery.
