Last August, I traveled with my family to Washington, D.C. and Arlington and Williamsburg, Virginia for my sister’s graduation trip. It was so amazing and inspiring to see the places where so much American history has been made and stand in the same places that our founding fathers stood. I’d probably say that Washington D.C. is my favorite of all the cities that I’ve been to in the United States and the Capitol Building is my favorite building; it’s just so magnificent! The legacy that the founding fathers left us and their faith in God is evident all over the city. Since it’s Memorial Day weekend, I thought it would be fun to eventually share these on the blog! Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (Udvar Hazy Center) | Although the Udvar-Hazy location of the National Air and Space Museum is outside D.C., in Chantilly, VA, it was worth the drive as this portion of the museum is in a very large hanger filled with planes and aircraft, from a space shuttle to a SR-71 Blackbird and one of the retired Concord Jets.
