Yesterday, I finished up shooting Patriot Plaza, the new ceremonial amphitheater at Sarasota National Cemetery. It was funded by the Patterson Foundation and donated to the National Cemetery Administration at a dedication ceremony on June 28,2014. It is interesting place to go and there is a lot of patriotic artwork around the amphitheater. My daddy works at Jensen and Group Engineering Consultants, who did the civil engineering for this project, so I was taking photos for them to use. It is quite beautiful when it’s lit up at twilight.
